SandenWolff Films

Before working for Playbill, I had the great fortune to work as the Associate Producer/Assistant Editor for SandenWolff, a production company specializing in creating online video content for art museums, galleries, design firms, and NYC-based non-profits. I've produced projects on subjects ranging from Prospect Park’s 150th anniversary, to Georgia O' Keeffe's fashion, to the historical letters that inspired Jennifer Egan's novel Manhattan Beach. I conducted interviews with subjects ranging from world-famous artists like Anish Kapoor and Erwin Wurm to the NYC public.

Below are a few of my favorite projects that I've produced in my time at SandenWolff.

Anish Kapoor: Descension

On behalf of the Public Art Fund, I interviewed renowned artist Anish Kapoor and PAF Chief Curator Nicholas Baume about Anish Kapoor's piece Descension, which was on view in Brooklyn Bridge Park in the spring of 2017. I scripted, oversaw b-roll filming, and assisted with editing this piece.

The Girl Scouts of Greater NY

These videos were created for the Girl Scouts of Greater New York’s annual gala. The first video highlights the work the Girl Scouts are doing with Troop 6000, the first-ever Girl Scout troop consisting of homeless and housing-insecure girls. The second video explores how GSGNY empowers NYC girls through engagement with environmental science and outdoor adventures. I conducted the interviews with the GSGNY leadership as well as the Girl Scouts themselves, oversaw additional b-roll filming, scripted, and was heavily involved with the editing of these pieces.

I scripted and co-edited this content piece for the New School's College of Performing Arts. This video highlights the career and teaching philosophy of actor, playwright, and Theatre professor Donnetta Lavinia Grays. Also, check out this video with acclaimed Jazz artist and New School faculty member Linda Oh.

The New School

To promote the Brooklyn Museum's Soulful Creatures exhibition, I interviewed a group of Kid Curators to get their thoughts about seeing the hundreds of Ancient Egyptian animal mummies featured in the exhibition. I was responsible for scripting this piece and overseeing the post-production process.

The Brooklyn Museum: Soulful Creatures

For this video spotlighting Erwin Wurm's Hot Dog Bus, I conducted interviews with the artist, curator, and the NYC public, and scripted this piece. I also sourced additional assets from the artist's studio, and oversaw b-roll filming.

Erwin Wurm: Hot Dog Bus

Center for Brooklyn History

I scripted and edited this social clip on behalf of the Brooklyn Historical Society. In this clip, Pulitzer Prize-winning author Jennifer Egan shares how the Brooklyn Historical Society's archive inspired the plot of her latest novel, Manhattan Beach.
